Well, hello there...are you new?!

Blogs are the new Facebook. In a world obsessed with 'social media' and finding the newest and greatest ways of getting more information about other people's lives, I am subscribing to the notion that someone out there would like to hear about our life.

I can rational to myself why someone would like to know about our pretty boring life in Charlotte, NC.

1. We are far far away from most of our friends and family. Why point this out? Well, I think they would like to have a better idea of what is going on past the perfunctory call once a week (or in some of your cases...once a month/year).

2. Pictures are always better than words, at least in my opinion. Describing over the phone how funny it was to watch Fuller walk around with a shirt and pants on is not as great as seeing a picture of it (see below).

3. Some of my friends tell me so. (If I get no followers, and Sam you better be one, then I will call up my friends who at a lunch before Christmas, date and location to remain anonymous but you know who you are, said that blogs are a great way to stay connected and write funny stories). I apologize in advance that none of my stories will be funny, pathetic or ironic maybe but most likely not funny.

and 4. Because I think our mother's would really like to read about our lives and be even more in the know.

So to close out my first post with not very much information or enticing anecdote to keep you coming back for more...blessing and peace to those out in cyberspace.
